PERSIAN GULF (March 5, 2008) Lt. j.g. Curtis Reiss, left, Lt. Cmdr. Matthew Duffy and Lt. Cheryl Zeiss, all assigned to the "Seahawks" of Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron (VAW) 126, gather radar analysis data inside the fuselage of an E-2C Hawkeye during flight operations aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75). Using sophisticated radar monitoring systems, crewmembers are able to expand the range carriers are able monitor contacts during flight operations. ATLANTIC OCEAN (April 5, 2016) The crew of an E-2C Hawkeye assigned to the Screwtops of Airborne Early Warning Squadron (VAW) 123 depart the aircraft via the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69), the flagship of the Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group. Ike is underway conducting a Composite Training Unit Exercise (COMPTUEX) with the Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group in preparation for a future deployment. An E-2C Hawkeye from the Sunkings of Airborne Early Warning Squadron 116 (VAW-116) successfully recovers onboard Constellation (CV-64) with one engine after having an in-flight emergency.
